Sweet Jake is nothing if not honest, and that's as true in life as it is in his writing. His new material is a modern nod to the decades-old western hits that would sizzle through the speakers of an old AM radio in a middle-of-nowhere farmhouse. Through these songs, a smoky voice will walk you, often via the scenic route, through exactly where you need to be: love, loss, guilt, ambition, reverence. It’s all there and plenty more.

His upcoming sophomore releases include "The Plan", a fictional yet highly reflective ballad of a love lost before it had even begun. This new material, recorded at Halo Studio in Hamilton, ON with producer Andrew Billone (Silvertone Hills, Walk Off The Earth, Golden Feather), leans heavily on Sweet Jake’s love for country revivalists such as Colter Wall, Zachary Lucky, Tyler Childers, and many more.
